Autodesk has been pushing Revit pretty agressively and the hope is that this 3D intelligent modelling will eventually become the design package of choice rather than the simple and "dumb" line-drawing tool that is Autocad.

haha....forgive my 无知.
Revit is a BIM (Building Information Modelling)software by Autodesk. BIM is a new generation design system. Can actually let you estimate/foresee many things in a design before building it.
